Your safety matters to us! We want all our Wildlife Wardens to stay safe while out making a difference — we’d like to keep you around! You’re covered by our third-party public liability insurance when volunteering, and as part of your introductory training, we’ll help you feel confident about spotting potential risks and putting together simple risk assessments when needed.
Organising events for members of the public
If you’d like to run events for members of the public (who aren’t Wildlife Wardens), you’ll need to complete our Leading Volunteers Training first — you’re not covered by ACT’s insurance otherwise.
Interested in taking part? Contact our coordinator to find out more.
