You can help
We are always looking for volunteers who can help with our projects and events. Even better if you have an idea for an initiative or project you’d like to lead on but need the support of a community organisation like ACT.
Whatever your skill and however much time you have, your enthusiasm will always help us make ACT stronger. So why not contact our volunteer coordinator, to find out more?
Some of the ways you could help are listed below, but there are many others, even if you can only spare a couple of hours a month.
What you could do
- Sign up as a Wildlife Warden or Carbon Cutter and join or initiate projects in your parish;
- Help us engage with our members and the public via newsletters, articles and social media content;
- Support fundraising and grant applications;
- Assist with administration, especially with managing our internal/external communication processes, emails, website and IT support;
- Shadow/support our various group coordinators, including Wildlife Wardens and Carbon Cutters;
- Bookkeeping and budgeting;
- Help at events we run or attend.
